from Association for Corporate Growth (ACG)
This event has passed.
Friday, June 20, 2008, 7:30am - 9:15am

With a substantive disappearance of basic research activities in industry, universities play an increasingly important role as a source of innovation for corporations and venture and private equity startups and portfolio companies. This forum will explore ways to set up collaborations that address strategic interests of companies while still feeding the basic research appetite of universities, and will draw heavily on examples of successful activities. Limited to 40 participants, the roundtable will include:

- Julie Gerstenberger, Director, External Alliances, and VP, Office of the CTO, Eastman Kodak Corporation
- Daniel Behr, Director Business Development, Office of Technology Development, Harvard University
- Leon Sandler, Executive Director, Despande Center for Technological Innovation at MIT
- Nan Doyle, formerly Director of Corporate Development, Genzyme Corporation, and previously part of the Technology Licensing and Industry-Sponsored Research group at Harvard Medical School

Come and learn how successful University Research and Corporate/Startup Companies structure relationships.
