New England is home to a vibrant value chain of companies who have helped build the multi-trillion dollar global wireless economy and influence its future direction. As we move toward Mobile 2.0, which is more focused on software, content, applications, the user experience, and integration with the broader digital universe, it is a critical time to examine whether the region has the right building blocks to help build the next-generation mobile economy.
The New England Mobile Summit will feature the region's senior-most executives and thought leaders, and some of our most exciting companies, in a discussion of how New England can remain one of the world's "wireless epicenters".
The New England Mobile Summit will be chaired by Mark Lowenstein, Managing Director of Mobile Ecosystem, and a highly respected industry analyst, consultant, and commentator. Lowenstein founded the Yankee Group's wireless practices and was most recently VP, Wireless Strategy at Verizon Wireless.
