Moderator: James DeSanti, CEO, PharmaVigilant

James has been involved with the pharmaceutical/biotech industry for over 25 years. He is currently CEO of PharmaVigilant and has been involved with over 400 clinical trials. He has held senior management positions at Phase Forward, and was President of Walsh America, one of the largest data providers to Pharmaceutical industry serving over 80 countries. Walsh processed tens of millions of records per day, utilizing state of the art data transfer tools.

Panel: Michael S. Wasyl ,Principal, PROsys LLC

Mike has over 20 years of experience in business and technology strategy, process design and optimization, operations and program management for Bio-pharmaceutical Drug Discovery & Development and the life science industry.

Prior to joining PROsys LLC, Mike led the Global Laboratory Automation organization in Drug Discovery for Pfizer Global Research & Development developing strategies to increase productivity utilizing technology improvements, process design and optimization. Mike also developed the processes and best practices for the Discovery IT System Life Cycle and led the Program Management Office. His industry expertise is in the life sciences; pharmaceutical and instrumentation.

Mike previously held several positions at Packard BioScience, an international life science instrumentation company. Most recently, Director and General Manager leading the Drug Discovery instrumentation Business Unit developing strategies and executing on business plans for revenue generation, profitability and new product development. Mike also held management positions in Marketing and Engineering for Packard BioScience.

Mike received his BA in Mathematics from the Central Connecticut State University and MS in Bio-Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Mike has also attended several Executive Management Seminars.
