October's guest speaker is Nicholas Negroponte, the founder and chairman of the One Laptop per Child (OLPC) non-profit association. He was co-founder and director of the MIT Media Laboratory, the Jerome B. Wiesner Professor of Media Technology and author of the 1995 best seller, Being Digital. Nicholas serves on the board of directors for Motorola, Inc. and has been involved with numerous startups.
