Five Reasons Women Make the Best Salesmen
from Downtown Women's Club - Boston Chapter
This event has passed.
Thursday, October 16, 2008, 12:00pm - 1:30pm

Before the world can see you as a great salesperson, you have to believe in yourself. You don't have to sell like a man to be great in sales and here is why:

1. We listen. Yes, we love to talk but we also love to listen and are generally more interested in what people have to say than men are.
2. We are humble. We can admit when when are wrong and not afraid to apologize.
3. We are not motivated solely by money. We want a balance with our personal lives because we do value our relationships.
4. We like Win-Win Situations. We are great negotiators because we want everyone to be happy.
5. We are open to learning. We are not afraid to say "I don't know the answer to that, let me get back to you."

My goal is to give more women the courage to get out there and earn more money than she ever has, while maintaining a balance in her personal life. If I can help even one woman to change the way she thinks about herself then we can begin to change the way the world sees and values us and in that process we can begin to see ourselves successfully acknowledged by the world.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Jeanne Keith Worrick has been a top producer in commercial and industrial oil sales for twenty year, working in a predominantly male industry serving Fortune 100+ companies. While in sales, she has created successful marketing programs that have expanded market share and she continues to run seminars that address timely topics such as biofuels and green issues for her clients and prospects.

She is now also working with women groups to encourage them to believe in their innate abilities and empower them to go out and Sell like a Girl!
