The Life Sciences Workforce in the Commonwealth: The Necessary Catalysts for Continued Growth
from Merrimack Valley Venture Forum (MVVF)
This event has passed.
Wednesday, November 12, 2008, 5:00pm - 8:00pm

We are delighted to have Susan Windham -Bannister, President and CEO of the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center (MLSC), as our keynote speaker. The Life Science sector continues to be a significant component of the Massachusetts economy, and one with prospects of continued growth. Does Massachusetts have the work force to sustain this continued growth? Our November meeting addresses this issue.

Susan Windham-Bannister will discuss a study prepared by the MLSC. The MLSC study finds that growth of a skilled work force is necessary to sustain the growth of this cluster, and the steps that should be taken, by both the public and private sectors, to ensure this growth.

A distinguished panel, with representatives from higher education and the Life Science sector, will add their insight and provide opportunities for an interactive discussion.
