Getting the Most out of LinkedIn
from Society of Professional Consultants
This event has passed.
Wednesday, September 10, 2008, 7:30am - 9:00am

If you aren't already a power user of LinkedIn, you really should be! This 60-minute session will help jump-start your understanding and use of this powerful social and business networking tool. We will spend most of the session logged in to LinkedIn and will use real-world examples of how to make the tool work for you.

Our speaker, Rock Griffin of Skyward Consulting, will show you how to:

* Gather current information about people, companies, and business problems (more complete and more current than paid services - and it's free!)
* Pinpoint whom you need to speak with at any given firm
* Determine who can give you a warm introduction and spare you from having to make a cold call
* Market your business and keep your name in front of your contacts
* Identify experts or potential employees or subcontractors you may need
* Keep track of the constant career moves of all your contacts
* Help your own referral sources with their business needs to pick up IOUs

After this session you will know:

* How to maximize hits to your profile
* How to build your network
* How to do advanced queries
* How to ask for help
* Who is most likely to help you

This Breakfast for Champions program will leave plenty of time for you to ask questions and discuss take away several new strategies for growing your business.
